hello everyone I would like some thoughts as to why karoo (shudder) want me to upgrade to ADSL+2 just to have interleaving turned off completely, when the setting is done on the line card at the exchange? they're trying to strong arm me into upgrading which isnt necessary and just plain illegal.

Hi, would you be able to post the results of a couple of tests, with no other programs using the Internet on your computer or network.

ping www.jolt.co.uk

ping 212.50.160.204

Then I'll be able to advise of the benefit of having the interleave lowered. If you are on MAX and on a newer DSLAM, interleave runs very low anyway, so you may not benefit.
