You could have done it in a Duncan Ballantyne accent Grin

And nextgenus, we really don't mean to come across negatively, it's great to see alternatives being introduced to the city. It's just that the pricing model is a little unusual I guess  Tongue

Mabey, but they'd still have to charge some kind of install fee to cover the cost of the kit though I'd guess.

I can see where the confusion is. the greater the distance from their location the higher the install cost but this also means they can only guarantee a lower rate, therefore lower monthly payment. and they did say they won't install if they can't get at least 10mbps.

anyway what speed and how much for an install on preston road? ;-)

If I were to go for the £299 install and £8.50 a month option ,
then if the £8.50 monthly fee were to stay the same over the 3 years the average cost over the 3 years would be around £16 a month ?

Very exciting stuff right now, Looking forward to seeing if anyone goes for a new service and please if you are one of these people, give us updates on how you are getting on and how your new service is looking..

If a few people take the plunge others will follow given that the results are positive..

Regards

A couple of questions:

When is this service planned to be launched?
In what order will each area be given coverage?
Do you have anything to do with the Mast that has been erected down Chanterlands Avenue?

End of first year’s contract we expect monthly costs to be circa £12.95 per month

so does that mean every 1 pays this after first year

And the planning application for a mast on corner of Hotham Road North & Bricknell Avenue?

Infact I don't expect an answer on the Mast question, as it would be unwise for a company to reveal information on their technology and its location for obvious reasons.

If anyone can't think of the reason, just think sabotage.

Looking at the planning application online, it seems that these are for mobile phone masts.
