Hey all, moved in to my new house got the kc people to connect the line they, came yesterday nice and friendly.

The connection is running well.

ADSL Link     Downstream     Upstream
Connection Speed    20479 kbps    1023 kbps
Line Attenuation    25.0 db    11.5 db
Noise Margin    3.6 db    12.5 db

Speedtest's are running fast. I just wondered if anyone else has a connection as stable as this, these speeds are the same anytime of the day.
Well done to karoo.

That's the fastest connection speed I have seen on Karoo :p Also given your attenuation your connection speed is higher than the average.
You must have a good line, possibly due to thicker copper somewhere...

My line can is only meant to cope with 3MB, however receive a very stable 4MB no matter which part of the day it is tested at.

Yep i reckon so..

Although spoke to support today as my snr was dropping to low at peak times, so im now on a 6db snr, current stats are

ADSL Link     Downstream     Upstream
Connection Speed    19135 kbps    1023 kbps
Line Attenuation    25.0 db    11.4 db
Noise Margin    4.9 db    13.0 db

Its still drops 1db snr at peak times, but on the 3db was getting to low.

So my speed has dropped to 16.5 meg download now.  But still not throttling or traffic shaping. so still happy kc customer :-)
