When i placed my order they were offering free connection normally £115, if you took broadband and landline at the same time. and its called talk n surf. Price is £20 per month for kc talk 2 and karoo mid 1.

I think you signed up with Karoo Pro 1 in the end didn't you? What price did they charge you for KC Talk (which one did you take?) and Karoo Pro 1 combined?

Your correct stormy, i took pro 1 with kc talk 1

Pro one is been charged at £21.99 a month and kc talk 1 is £10.99. With a 12 month contract.

I will expect a hefty discount on Pro 1 after the 12 month contract, along with some sort of cut on the talk 1 aswell.

Otherwise bye bye and back to Bt land, due to the huge offers on llu, ie talktalk pro, £14.99 plus £11.49 line rental. Also could go to sky llu for £10 per month plus free call package.

I joined karoo, because i wanted to see what the speeds were like, which im very impressed with but, if they want to keep my customer after the 12mths i reckon on around 25-40% discount.

Why should they offer you a discount after 12 months, and at 25-40%? Can't see them doing that just cause you can get BT, I know that's the reason they can offer the bundle, but don't think they'll offer a massive discount just to keep you on.

Depends if they want to keep customers doesnt it, this is the whole problem with kc, you have no other suppliers in the hull, beverely area so they screw you for the full amount.
Unlike the rest of us who have a choice, Most Isp's within Bt land lock into a 12mth contract then when you say your off elsewere (after 12mths), most give free line rental for a year or discount the broadband, just because they dont want you to leave.

The question is would they rather keep your custome at a discount or lose you all together?
