My mate took my advice and got a Utility Warehouse smart box, KC have charged him £10 for downgrading from Talk3 to Talk1. What a rip off, KC are shafting the competition once again.

I found that out too. I am on the £16.99 a month package but dont use my computer enough to use all my entitlement, so I range Karoo and asked them if I could go on to a cheaper packege. They said no problem but I would have to pay £31 for 'changing the software'. My sister is on the most expensive package, and like me, uses nowhere near what she pays for, so she asked them could she downgrade. No problem they said, and she has no software fee to pay ....
