Hi All, I dont know how many of you use Twitter to follow whats going on in this forum, but there is a way to make the the Karooforums twitters a little clearer. If you use a Quote from someone put it below rather than on top, then your reply will appear in the twitter rather than the quote appearing which will help attract more people to this forum.

If you get what I mean?  Cry

Top posting, is just wrong tho. Smiley

The twitter app should be more intelligent, to strip the "quote". Smiley

It makes reading things harder as the human brain / eyes naturally read from top to bottom, I would rather have a cleaner forum than cleaner twitter to be quite honest.

I dont know.. my brain can understand that I've quoted and replied above quite happily  Tongue I see you point though if we can take care of stripping out quotes it would make more sense. Dylan? we like creating work for you  Roll Eyes

Top posting is considered to be bad netiquette, but I do agree with what hullnet says. Perhaps we just need to consider when we need to quote someone else and when not, so that the tweet feed does look neater. To be fair, I linked the forum to twitter when it was a lot quieter, and I'm surprised that people still subscribe to the feed now we're a little busier.  Smiley

I'll ensure my future quotes are placed at the bottom, even if it does make me feel horrible inside!

Grin.... Cheesy... Grin
I do keep up to date with the forum during the day via twitter and it is difficult to follow sometimes, this is probably why... Wink

See, I'm still stuck in "BBS Mode" so I just use the @UserName method.

I still find it hard not to sign my posts too.
