A ping between 30-50 is perfect for gaming!

Most people on adsl broadband connections typically recieve that kind of latency, exceptions being ones living very close to exchanges!

Hell, I play on my 360 on pings ranging from 80-150 and dont notice difference at all! This is due to the fact my ADSL is so slow, I have to use a 3G dongle just to achieve smooth gameplay.

Yeah Scotte I'm not worried about the ping rate at the moment but the lower the better... Grin On MW2 most of the game lobbies are around 70 to 80 ping anyway... Roll Eyes

I have both Karoo & Airnet at the moment, so here's a direct comparison.

PMSL... I've just hacksawed through all my cabling, pulled my distribution board off the wall, unbolted the electric pylon outside and carefully laid it in east park boating lake....and I still have more than that...  Grin... Wink

Hello everyone sorry I haven't been on the Karoo forums for quite some time, I've had computer problems that needed attending to. Damn solid state hard drives are nothing but trouble, especially when configured as an array let me tell yah lol. During this time however I have successfully joined Airnet, the speeds I receive are about on par with what I achieved with Kingston Communications but allot more stable and don't tend to fluxuate as much between 6 pm and midnight. I was originally going to sign up with NextGen but sadly my upload speed was non existent and was informed that nothing could be done to change that, it's a damn shame because I was receiving 18 MB down to.

Anyways this is what I get:

@MickyByte

Nice to see you up and running.

Looks like a pretty stable connection and hopefully speeds will gradually improve.. Great ping times too.
