It's actually very expensive to put a tower or mount any equipment anywhere Smiley It will be point to point microwave links to supply bandwidth to the mobile phone equipment.

ricky told me the other day that the second picture is in fact the wimax tower, ive also had it confirmed by someone who used to work for orbital that they is a repeater on the tower

I'm baffled by this talk of WiMAX. AFAIK The kit that Air Net and NextGenUs are using doesn't even support WiMAX !!??  Huh?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they're basically using stuff from this manufacturer ain't they? http://www.ubnt.com/
