Hello everyone and especially Quickline clients, I have created this topic to allow fellow Airnet customers to offer assistances between one another. This can include resolving technical problems and answering inquiries relevant to the service.

A forum is always at its best when organized. Grin

Good idea, MB.

Has anyone got any actual paperwork from Airnet? I mean something to confirm you're a customer of the service? It's the one thing I forgot to ask when it was installed on Friday. Does it get sent later?

Also, written settings for setting up a router if we choose to use something different to the one supplied. I've looked on the Airnet site for settings something like the Karoo site but can't see anything.

How long does it take from sending an email to request a application form for airnet services to getting one back through email or home address

I got one back via email within a couple of hours.

I emailed asking them to send one by post on the Wednesday and it came on the Monday. I sent it back same day. I then emailed just over a week later (Wednesday) asking for a rough idea of installation date and Ricky email back saying he had slots on Thursday and Friday of the same week.

Marko you should have some sort of written confirmation like for example a contract agreement, I was paid a visit by one of Airnets customer managers who brought along the papers necessary for me to sign. He told me shortly after this was a standard procedure that all customers must go through before both the installation and service is up and running.  Wink

Allanofhull you could always try and contact them over the phone. The number for their sales department is 01964 775001.

I would also try and keep in contact with them regularly to check how your order is proceeding.

I filled out the initial application/contract and sent that back (no copy to keep, though on reflection I should have photocopied it). Then after installation was complete, I had to fill out a standing order form for them to take the monthly fee. Again, no copy. I just thought something would be sent through the post like a conformation letter explaining the service and including any user name or password like Karoo send out.

I asked and was sent an invoice with everything listed via post a week or so after install. Just give them a ring or an email. Top service really! Smiley

Nice one, thanks! I wasn't sure if you have to ask or if they send it automatically.

As some of you may know. I changed the password on the router supplied by Airnet and now cannot log in.

I emailed Ricky asking for the setting I need (Like Karoo's setting for connecting to their service) to connect to Airnet after I reset the router to factory settings and he emailed back and said,

"Reset the router and set it up how I want it. Please see the instructions on the cd that came with the router on how to do this."

Does that mean I don't need any setting? Will the router find them itself because it is connected to the POE adapter?

I really don't want to pester the poor bloke any more so wondered if someone on here knows for sure what to do? I dare not try it in case I mess up and lose connection unless I know 100% what to do.

Thanks in advance

Marko I presume your router is manufactured by GetNet, if so I have uploaded the config file required to Airnet service correctly.

Here is the link: http://www.rapidshare.com/files/418071789/configup.dat

Update:
(I have re-uploaded a new configuration file from my personal router that has all the setting Airnet set as standard, simply upload this file into your router and everything should work fine. Marko if you want to know received an old and dated configuration file so post ahead of this have no relevance to the file you see here.)

I am getting installed tomorrow, and would like information on how I can edit the router settings e.g. Wireless security keys/broadcasting.

Its easy enough if you have a user-name and password, but does Ricky provide you with them?
