I felt I had to post this, as praise is deserved when it is due.
New Karoo Customer - My experience so far.
Having recently moved to Hull from York, I found this site about a month before and got a bad indication that Karoo was going to be a terrible internet provider. I found it hard to believe than any company could fall short to BT (previous provider), but this website made me think so. This worry was further provoked by the fact I assumed I would receive shocking speeds on my rather long line of 4.7km.
However, I have been pleasantly surprised throughout the whole installation, and the delivery of the broadband.
Speeds - Much better than what I expected, and very stable, even during the peak hours. Disconnections are non-existent.
Ping/Latency - Better than I could ever imagine, VERY stable and consistent. Gaming is fantastic.
Customer Service - The best customer service and call centre staff I have ever dealt with, with any company. The staff understand all the technical terms I use, and are more than willing to try my suggestions out to up the speeds - which worked.
So in conclusion,
Thank-you Karoo, and well done.
Previously, with BT; I recieved 0.8Mb/s download and 0.3mb/s upload. Pings ranged from 55-80. Customer service was diabolical
