Hi Guys.
Please spend a moment reading the candidates posts they have made explaining why you should vote from them, of course just like the current Mod's they are volunteering to give up some of their own spare time to assist in keeping the forum running smoothly.
Voting will be open for 14 days so don't rush & please choose your preferred candidate carefully as there is only one vote, once your vote is cast there is no going back...

We have a helpful and friendly community here and I'm sure any one of the candidates above will make a good contribution to the forum...

Good luck to all candidates...

Cheers...Ace...

Why should others vote for me?
Well, I'm pretty fair minded. I believe everyone has a right to have an opinion as long as that opinion doesn't hurt/bully anyone else.
I've moderated a few sites in my time, I've never offered to moderate before but have been asked by the owner of each site. (One of the big wigs on here can vouch for me

)
I'm around quite a lot. Even popping on in my lunch hour from work (Sad I know, but I like to get my monies worth from the internet

)
I know I can joke quite a bit but I'm pretty serious when need be.
I will go forward for it, why?
I've moderated many forums in the past, admin at another at present. I'm around most of the time due to my job, it's boring so I often pop on here to see what's happening. I've been around a while and like getting involved and helping out in discussions.
I'll put myself forward also;
I've not actually moderated a website forum before, but always been interested in doing so. Broadband and networking as a whole interest me greatly, and I always try and help people solve issues where they arise, to the best of my knowledge & ability.
I have used many different networking products, and like to help wherever possible!
I like to keep things structured, and easy to find, and would carry this trait on here - specifically if something posted, is valuable to other forum users.
I am easy to approach, and always available to answer any questions or resolve any problems, and have visited the site almost every day, since registering.
I like to keep up to date with the world of broadband technology, and I am happy to share anything I know to others.
Having both a Karoo and WiMax connection, as well as previously been with various other cable and DSL BB providers outside of Hull, I am now very familiar with many different companies and connection types - also including 3G mobile broadband. During my time before moving to Hull, I was living in a Broadband 'Slow Spot' area, so I can relate to those suffering users also.
I'm a light hearted guy and enjoy a laugh, but can identify when things go to far.
Scott
OK, I'll put myself forward
I spend most of my time on forums but have never moderated one - though I have run my own forums before several times.
I can be logged on at silly times that others are not (early morning) so I can deal with things quietly when nobody is around.
I tend to be quite fair to people, seeing as how it is the internet and I don't have any reason to get worked up about anything that may happen here - I would take a professional attitude to the post.
There you are, good luck everyone.
