Doesn't your xbox need open ports to work properly? I thought these 'alternatives' give you NAT'd addresses which just don't work in the real world.

Existing Airnet customers are using xboxes online no problem. PS3 also works fine.

Yep...I have One PS3 & 2 Xbox's running all with Moderate NAT's and despite my initial concerns over being restricted to certain games or joining certain parties, I don't appear to have any issues what so ever... :)Happy Days... Grin
When I was with Karoo I had nothing but problems for years... Angry

I don't know why that would be, Karoo don't have closed ports like AirNet. Then again, I don't own any modern consoles, my Dreamcast seems to work OK with it though.

@Sooty; Welcome aboard, I sure hope you aren't going to type like that all the time Sad

You type like your drunk!

You sure you cannot get AirNet on Kingswood? It is in the coverage area now.

New speed tests after having these changes done to my connection.

Test results prior to having the changes made can be found here

After having the changes made these are the new results:
ADSL LinkDownstreamUpstream
Connection Speed4672 kbps448 kbps
Line Attenuation55.0 db31.5 db
Noise Margin6.5 db20 db

Note: All tests completed on 18th October 2010 at 6:45pm. It seems since my connection was uncapped, it is on the automatic profile selection stage and the connection speed is reducing after every disconnect I get. So far I have recieved two disconnects since entering peak times.

As you can see, comparing the new results with the old results taken prior to the changes.  It has most notably increased the ping and reduced the overall speeds. Not a very happy customer is putting it lightly.
