From People of Hull Against Karoo Facebook Page
Anyone Interested in getting a Wireless Internet connection from www.quickline.co.uk Should show their interest now. They currently are offering 10-1 month free trials on first come first served basis. This is a very noble offer from them as a company, if you're not happy with the service and cancel after the month they will waive the setup fee. This is a great way to gain internet access with out the need for a phoneline. With this you can use whats called VoIP for phone calls, meaning you make your calls over the internet at usually a cheaper rate than that of a landline, using applications such as SKYPE. Its worth looking into. But be aware there is a minimum contract term.

Strange. I thought Airnet were reselling for Quickline? Are Quickline looking to cut out the middle man perhaps?

Given Quickline have dealt with Airnet customer support once or twice it stands to reason that they are, I'm sure Quickline posted here at one point saying that Airnet are a reseller of their service.

It does seem a little odd.

When I spoke to Quickline, they told me that they are more business BB focused and let Air Net and TheOnePoint deal with residential customers. Could it be a possibility that they have started to realise that theirs good money in residential custom?

To be fair though, their website has been offering residential broadband for a while now though.
Essentially AirNet and Quickline are the exact same service, but Quickline costs more to be installed, and is a little extra per month. I would imagine they don't shout about AirNet when a customer contacts them.

Maybe Quickline could shed some light on why they have decided to move into providing residential services themselves?
My guess - it's a case of 'why not?'

i think it all came about from the pohak, i think they so how many people want to change, with them doing a 10 free install try for month for free and can cancel upto 3 months without having to pay the full contract. i

t looks like they doing it for more custom plus been a helpfull company. The way he posted about people not been happy then telling the people of pohak that they are doing free installs for the first 10 who contacted them,

i contacted them for a friday who couldnt get online, her install is due friday and they only contacted her this morning. plus it will generate more business. when airnet started out they did free installs and offerd free service to some people who hosted there service from there home

I was one of the people that responded to the free trial offer on the PoHAK Facebook page, and got one of the last free trials. I've sent them my details and was told that they'd be in touch to arrange setup this week.

I asked a couple of questions about the service, a summary of which is: £27.50 a month by direct debit. No minimum contract length, just one months notice to cancel. Unlimited traffic up and down. Regarding traffic shaping I was told that businesses have network priority and there are some limits on Peer 2 Peer traffic. Whether all of these would apply to everyone or just free trials I can't say.

I'm currently on one of the old max packages and looking forward to making that cancellation call to karoo!
