12-10-2010 16:16:55 - A series of planned network upgrades will be taking place over the coming months and we will be keeping you informed at each stage of the process. The first adjustment will take place on our Kirk Ella and Cottingham exchanges during Wednesday 13th October from 3.30am, lasting approximately two and a half hours. This means that customers will be unable to access online services at this time. Customers who are online at this time will experience a disruption to their connection. This will affect any online activity, including scheduled downloads and online back-ups. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. Reconnection will happen automatically.

We will keep you updated on further upgrades as they occur. Thank you.

When I complained about 4oD speeds last night, they replied telling me there where no problems (because of course I make it up) but also, quite unrelated I suppose, that a series of improvements where beginning tonight to improve bandwidth across the network.
