I never get jitter on that test, thats the only thing my connection is good for, decent latency, even on crappy Karoo Max. It will be interesting to see when these bundles emerge if I actually get a decent throughput on my line, should I move to ADSL2+.

Sort the FTTC (fibre to the cabinets) out and sort the bandwidth out and then maybe Karoo can compete with airnet/nextgen to some degree.

I think I am, can't remember to be honest, I think I might have got them to change it cause I did use to have lag on my xbox, but to be fair I haven't played it in some time.

From 19mb to 4mb? I should think that would be considered a considerable drop. Which obviously is also one of the reasons you guinea pigged the Airnet service.

yea one of the main reason i wouldnt of touched airnet if i still lived on bransholme, I used to get 19Mbs on a good day it was move like 17Mb and on greatfield i barley get 3Mbs ive never seen 4Mbs here, i just hope this mediasat3 thing comes to life and gives us a little move speed, I do plan on moving back upto bransholme soon anyway so im glad my airnet contract has come to an end

Edit: Kingston Communication offering a connection of 19MB on their ADSL2 service, hmm, I guess traffic shaping doesn't effect users on Bransholme or neither does interference on their lines.
