Lol, this won't happen in the British Empire, we will not allow such nonsense... Oh wait.

Something like this is alread happening anyway, find a clean machine and open CMD, type netstat -a and look for 1e100.net

Google is your friend, that weird friend that watches you, they watch you torrent, they watch you eat, they watch you sleep and probably watch you pee or something as well.

Is this one of those conspiracy theories?

'1e100.net is a Google-owned domain name used to identify the servers in our network.

Following standard industry practice, we make sure each IP address has a corresponding hostname. In October 2009, we started using a single domain name to identify our servers across all Google products, rather than use different product domains such as youtube.com, blogger.com, and google.com. We did this for two reasons: first, to keep things simpler, and second, to proactively improve security by protecting against potential threats such as cross-site scripting attacks.

Most typical Internet users will never see 1e100.net, but we picked a Googley name for it just in case (1e100 is scientific notation for 1 googol).'

If the government introduce such a scheme it will be universally panned by everyone including BT and TalkTalk I suspect.

I love philologist comment however:

Quote
The last lines from Orwell’s 1984
"He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark mustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won victory over himself. He loved Big Brother."

I might invent my own encryption that only sends data using the charachters C F K O U Y - Immagine what might form as they tried to read it, we have a right to privacy!

Spend this money to catch the pedos and fraudsters and leave us innocent users alone.

Anybody here heard of Guy Fawkes? He was a great guy, came up with some good ideas too.*

*TO; the Government, if you are watching this, I only added this for amusement purposes and do not endorse, reccomend or encourage following in Fawkes' footsteps.

Google already read all mails in g-mail.

@bashdabish; 1e100.net tried to DoS me and was sniffing all data sent and recieved through my connection, I made a forward lookup for it on my network, Google's services still work, a lot faster than they did before along with everything else.

can you post in english please? this makes my spelling and grammar look good. Oh and the reason why Microsoft can detect tampering on their Xbox is because their software can detect hardware and software changes.
