KC Lightstream 100 FTTH:

You should post 2 different speedtest results, one from KC's server and one from Manchester, Leeds or Milton Keynes.

Hull:

Milton Keynes:

Varies a bit, but usually get a min of 60-80 most of the time. Much better than the 8 I got before Smiley

That's what I'm talking about. The bandwidth outside Hull is the one that matters most for all intents and purposes.

Yep, FTTH. Only real option was the top Home Xtra bundle. We do use the home phone quite a lot so made sense to go with a bundle, but the other bundle only had 50GB so had to go with the top one for £13 extra a month. I'll maybe use 100GB or so a month, just would have been better if there was some middle ground in the packages rather than from one extreme to the other.

i think what they are doing is trying to tempt you into using there phoneline also cause not everyone has landlines due to what mobile phone providers offer with there deals like 900 mins unllimted landlines and 3000 txts for such a price a month so what KC are doing you go top bundle with alot of internet and cheaper calls exc or the smaller package trying to tempt you but the only way to have what is worth good internet usage monthly is to have top package to make up for people that dont use the landlines

Latency not so good, it's a bit hit-and-miss and seems to improve if I use my other router so I'm inclined to believe that root beer getting into the electronics might not be a good thing.

Unfortunatly the top is restrict due to my laptop not having gigabit cat5. My wireless n only seems to be about 75meg tho andybody know any way to boost it?

This one on g on the laptop

I should also add that the speedtest the guy did showed 180meg so i know its doable.
