Not quite, but if I switch the line to ADSL mode (instead of ADSL2+) then the error correction is minimised and the ping is reduced further, to pretty much the same as the gaming profile.

This is with the standard Thompson TG585 V8

Not done anything yet just plugged it in, having a problem with it on Xbox live... Sad The Xbox (wireless connection) say it cant resolve the DNS server..?
PS3 has a NAT Type 2... Sad

Sure we had these issues before but I can't remember how we sorted them out, might have to ring karoo when I get time... Smiley

Switched over to the Gaming profile... Smiley Still have issue with one Xbox... Huh? The message on the screen says "Your DNS server can't resolve the names of the XBox Live Servers or Xbox.com"
Been talking to Karoo on twitter and they think they know the problem, contacting me tomorrow to resolve this issue... Smiley
One XBox & the PS3 now have a NAT Type 1.. Open... Wink

Yeah, well one is... Grin hopefully get the other one sorted tomorrow...up/down load is not brilliant but playing Bops is like a new game now, shooting someone with a couple of shots rather than a couple of clips...sorted... Grin

All sorted... Grin Both XBox's & PS3 now enjoying open NAT's thanks to Karoo's Twitter facility... Tongue after one Tweet they arranged to call us yesterday evening..(Sunday @ 18.00hrs) and made a few setting changes remotely... Wink then today downloaded me a patch to correct some issues with XBox & PS3... Smiley
Must say a remarkable turnaround in customer service from 9 months ago...  Grin

Additionally... streaming youtube videos in HD no problem.. Wink
Cheers guys... Kiss
