I Just acquired a HD box... Wink Just reading the instructions and it says " You can put the box into standby mode by pressing the power on/off button and the light on the front will turn Amber" If it turns red then it's off and will not record any programmes! can I feck as get the light to change to Amber, no matter how quick I press it the light turns red, or green if it's on... Angry anyone else got one of these HD boxes ?

Red is standby it will record fine, try it.

I like my Video Plus system better Wink

It should be fine with the Red LED, it's probably just due to what LEDs they had around when that box was made, my old laptop douments it's Amber LED as Red.

Just tell it to record a program that starts soon and test it, if that works you know you can trust it with a program you actually want to record.

Yeah cheers guys...it's red only but still records...phew ff for that...right corrie, series link ....sorted... Grin...
