I've just recently gone back to Karoo after a half year or so with Airnet, unfortunately Airnet didn't work out form me largely due to my gaming requirements... Smiley right now I must say since going back to Karoo I've had a couple of issues, one with firmware issue with Xbox & PS3 & one with wireless connection on my lads laptop running Vista... Shocked I sent one Tweet to Karoo asking for some help and they made arrangements to call me.
From that call they sorted all my issues remotely, all with one week... Cheesy absolute quality service in my opinion, complete turnaround from last year at this time.. Wink

Yeah, the twitter service is excellent.
Looks like I moved here the right time then, as it seems like early last year, the customer care was awful.

Everything with Karoo is better across the board lately, much better than previous years. Also very reliable and fast most of the time these days.

Wish it was fast enough to watch 4oD streams!  I still have problems most nights (except the night after I complain).

Line stats are fine.  I ssh tunnel the 4oD stream and they work fine then.  I own the proxy server, and I can see from a traceroute its following the same path.  Not really getting much value for the extra 16p I am paying.

DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,021 / 6,144

Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.5 / 17.5

Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 29.0 / 50.0

SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 9.5 / 8.5

My KC line should be reactivated on the 17th of January so hopefully I will be able to receive a stable connection with these ADSL 2 packages which I did state before however I would never go on but obviously this circumstance wasn't foreseen. Wink
