Please see:

http://www.v3.co.uk/v3/news/2273697/ofcom-bt-internet-broadband

"Ofcom said that it will not impose any pricing regulation or cost accounting obligations on KCOM after an assessment of its pricing and services found it comparable to other areas around the UK".

A DISGRACEFUL ASSESSMENT AND WHOLELY INAPROPRIATE HENCE WHY THERE IS NO COMPETITION IN HULL FOR BROADBAND OR FIXED LINES.

Hull is a "Rotten Borough" with Ofcom controlling the KC (the voter).

I thought the Conservative government were going to scrap Ofcom, if they follow up on their manifesto pledge, they (ofcon) won't be missed.

Given the rate that the ConDems are going back on their manifesto pledges, we'll be lucky if they do scrap them!
