Karoo insisted that since i don't pay by direct debit that i should pay quarterly, well i just received my first bill and it's shockingly high £142! That can't be right surly? £30 month which as far as i know included VAT, i have to pay 4 months as i missed one so shouldn’t be £120? Anyone else had a bill today and is it correct? Tried contacting KC but all their lines are busy....

Great KC won't deal with me! i'm sorry but we can only discus billing with the account holder. er but the account holder is not in the country and wont be back until 28th by that time i'll have been disconnected for no payment, we're sorry but we have to deal the account holder.... funny how they'll let me pay bills over the phone but wont discuss them isn't it.

To be fair, you would get tge same if it was s gas or electric bill etc, they've gotta comply with the DPA.

i know, trouble is the bill is to high and cannot be paid. All i want to do is pay the three months nov-jan and setup a direct debit, it's not like i'm trying to steal account details.

Success sort of, finally got them to listen and they agree the bill is wrong, but now they are insisting that i pay for 5 months @ £155! i only owe them november to this month, why the do i have to pay for 5 months? so i asked to speak to a supervisor and he couldn't give me a reason. so that's it i think i'm going to tell them to get stuffed and just pay what i owe and cancel the service if they don't get back to me.

basically they charged me from 15-30 nov & December then quarterly from January to March which does come to a little over £141. This was not explained in the bill or when i was told i was being put on quarterly back in November. The person i was talking to earlier today didn't have a clue about this and neither did the supervisor. A manager called me and was able to explain everything in detail and was able to change me back to monthly as long as i paid by direct debit. So now all i have to do is pay the 15 days of November + December - Febuary 15 and direct debit from then on. Gah why they couldn't have broke this down on the bill is beyond me. Still annoyed at all this though but at least it has been settled.
