If it is part of the FTTC rollout, they do seem to be cracking on with it at a decent rate.

It's awful for us, who don't live in those areas, but as a business, you can understand KC's motive.

They want to earn money, and targeting 'choice' places first - where people may not have FTTC from other ISP's, means KC improve their chances of getting those 12/18 month contracts.

Can't wait to see what MS3 has to offer once it is fully rolled out or other providers, I will be happy to see the back of this KC connection. Im in a 'red' zone surrounded by 'green' zones... how is that possible!?

KC get a stable (uptime) line with a good ping. That is it.

I see that KC wan't to have the upper hand in keeping those outskirt connections but they're losing their long term customers to other providers inside of Hull. They need to spend more on their overall network not just outlying regions.

People are on about MediaSat3 still? Good things come to those who wait, that's all I am saying... Then again, I have been waiting about 4 years for a hot woman and a load of money, these have yet to materialise.

If MS3 do offer service here ill jump in queens gardens pond NAKED!

Really... Firstly, I have done this, secondly, it is not fun - especially given it's proximity to a police station, third, it isn't something I want to ever have to see... Why don't we have a puke emoticon on here? I shan't stand for this.

Speaking of emoticons, why isn't there that Metal emoticon yet?

It was Cumberland Coms engineer who fitted me a new internet socket in a couple of weeks ago... Smiley I remember seeing "Cumberland Coms" painted on the side of his step ladders, as he fell of them... Grin

I questioned him on the subject of Fibre Optics... he was unable to tell me anything thing as they had already signed a confidentiality clause with KC... Roll Eyes
