I've got power on my ADSL line, but it will not connect, it has been this way since around 20:30 and I am currently using Dial-Up. Anybody else having these problems or is it just me?

Edit: It's back on now.

Wasn't as bad as it could have been, Top Gear was on TV so I at least had some entertainment.

Right, i had been using internet on Sun afternoon with no problems (appart from the usual thottleing) but i did not use it again untill late Mon morn. It was then i noticed internet disconnecting frequently which is when i came on here and noticed there had been issues Sun night hence my earlier post. The problem didn't resolve itself so i rang karoo yesterday and they told me the problem is at my end. They asked the usual, Sky, phones, splitter...they said something was causing disconnection at my end, i told them nothings changed in my house since i had a good connection but i will do some checks. Replaced splitter, connected direct to phone line, turned off Sky, no better. Fri i'm going to borrow my brothers router to try and rule that out but i have noticed my line att has gone through the roof... 49 down from 29.5, 41.9 up from 15.9 noise level at 6 up roughly the same and down from 13 to 6.3 , but connection has dropped from around 17000 kbps to 2400 kbps down, and up is only 524 from 1023 and connection is still dropping frequently. Any ideas, should i give karoo another call, seems a bit of a coincidence router failing the day after karoo probs.

Ps, the clock on here is 2 hours out Smiley
