Isn't iPlayer Akamai too, or it used to be... That is odd though, that iPlayer works and 4oD won't.
Thats down to the fact that the BBC had declared that they WILL name and shame any ISP that shapes their traffic to the point of un-usability! Wish more content providers would do that.

I re-rang yesterday, and it only took about 30 seconds to answer.  very helpful too!

On the video conf, why not a smartphone app with video conf ability.  my iphone runs yahoo messenger and skype video calls on 3G without any probs.

on the app, you could checkout usage etc and contact them by video call if necessary. Roll VT Cyril

Yeah sometimes it can take a while, I usually ring and then just leave the phone ringing on the side...then go to shop and forget about it... Grin
probably a really busy time right now, try mid morning tomorrow if you can... Smiley

I usually do it by email, I work during the day, sometimes through the evening; so unless my internet is down, email is pretty much good enough.

However, Karoo have stopped replying to all of my emails.

They are useless, honestly, hopeless. I've had the need to ring them 5 times in the last 7 days. Of those 5 times 1 was answered in 30 seconds. The other 4 in more than 15 mins, one time it was approximately 30 mins. Crap crap crap. Now they've turned my Internet off whilst connecting me to one of the new packages, it's going to take 3 days to get me back on. I am absolutely gob smacked with the incompetency. If this was a service like one of the electric companies, then they would have got a contract termination letter for this crap. As it is.............well done Karoo, I love you. X
