Me and my Girlfriend both have karoo on 2 addresses, both have the same router, Random disconnections is annoying me, then it works for a day and does the same....anyone else have issues with this router?

I have this router - no issues.

Ring Karoo, could be a line problem.

Are you using it wireless? I know when I used a Thomson the automatic channel selection was rubbish and constantly dropping the wifi, but when I specified the channel it was ok. But give karoo a ring and get them to check your line as well.

its the dsl connection dropping. hate this router

Talked to Karoo on the phone and he even addmited to me that the software on the router is crap....i said why sent them out then? didnt really get a responce lol

oh jolly good i have this router to look forward too, not the usual enterprise gear that I'm used to but for home use I thought this might do the trick I have this router now it arrived yesterday I hope it's going to work

Yeah they are a bit cheap no question but suppose it depends what you do with it, mine handles three laptops (wireless) 2 XBoxe's (wireless) my PS3 & Mac (Hard-wired) perfectly well now after some  software updates were done by Karoo tech service... Smiley It does the job perfectly for me... Smiley

V8 is the latest firmware, they are bringing another out soon, found out that it was the gaming profile that was causing the disconections.

Yeah what a sack of shit, Gaming profile that doesnt let you play because of disconnections lol
Dont get me wrong 8ms ping was great, but ide rather have a connection that doesnt fuck up
