Recently started online gaming, Fifa 11 for PC.
Seemed okay yesterdy, but today its almost like i can hardly connect to the servers! Not aware of any maintenetence or downtime on the EA servers, as sometimes it connects and others it won't!
I connect at 8128 and have an upload of 448.
My ping at the moment is 75MS. I believe this is poor am i correct?
Anyway i can get Karoo to sort this for me>?

Your on the old packages i assume?
If so you can't go down the route of asking them to set you to gaming profile, Which would dramatically reduce your ping times.

I believe the old MAX packages are already on a Gaming Profile or similar, do you know your distance from the exchange? That seems like a problem with your equipment/line to me. I think I am on option 2 or 3 and get what I have in my sig

are you connected to master socket?
What filter are you using?
Do you still have your bell wire (ring wire) connected in the socket you are using?
Have you tried checking pings using manchester pingtest server.
Try pinging bbc.co.uk

Try pinging bbc.co.uk
1)Using main socket on wall, haven't removed faceplate 2)Using a filter that came with router, have 3 different and have used all three 3)Not sure, as i havent removed the faceplate 4) Pinged Manchester 44ms 5) Ping BBC min 46ms Max 54Ms

sounds like you need to take the screws out of the master socket, plug into the test socket underneath and post back results then.
If the pings are still high i would suggest you have the pin 3 ring wire still attached.

If i take the plate off and plug in underneath, and the pings are low. What should i do then?
Or is this unlikely?

Leave the plate off and keep it plugged into the test socket.

Faceplate off = Just as bad!
Not sure about Ringwire. Can't tell whats connected and whats not!
Does the top of the socket also have to be removed to remove ringwire?

yes,
You only need wires in pin 2 and pin 5. If you find a wire in pin 3 (usually orange) remove it.
