Are you determined to argue or something? When did I say that it was a PC? Oh... I didn't, in fact I seem to recall saying something like;

...my video/graphics workstation...
Therefore, it is in a different class to home-grade "PC" hardware, it virges on "Superserver" grade, which is usually years ahead of anything you will be able to buy in stores or on most internet web sites.

And I wasn't trying to have an argument - arguments are childish - I would consider it more a debate. At the end of the day, though, you DO need a reasonably powerful machine to run it, I'll bet there are many netbooks out there that can't run the site any more, and those are quite popular now.

Yea i suppose. I am off the mindset that change is good, without it where would we be.

Change is fine, but it should be for the better, sadly I see all to often these days that they actually make things worse which leads you to question why they did anything in the first place - if it already works as well as it is required to, you may as well leave it alone "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Nope works fine on my Samsung N130 Netbook.

Screen Grab by Gary Crowhurst, on Flickr

Reason for the lower download than my normal speed tests is the wifi bottle neck.

My Wireless runs about 150-200Mb normally but have a few devices connected at the moment.
When nothing is using it speedtest results are normal for my connection.

My friend's netbook has more trouble running the site than my laptop does.

@Scotty; Unfortunately, most of us do not have a limitless supply of money to spend on new hardware just to run a speed test site. There are other sites, I shall use those instead.
