I currently run Ethernet adapters on my Karoo connection.
As my xbox is wired, I didn't want to have a ethernet wire running up the walls, so we use the mains power circuit to get the connection upstairs, then once upstairs, into a router, and then into xbox/ps3.
Works perfectly as-long as the upstairs and downstairs sockets are on the same circuit, and speed isn't affected whatsoever. Much more efficient than wireless.

no they don't dunny, not in my case anyway. They have no effect whatsoever on my connection, i have been so surprised by how well they perform. The ones i bought cost me £60 I think.

Test done on WiFi connection; Test done on Wired ethernet plug; Minimal to no difference. Note, this is on a ADSL2+ connection.

doesnt seem to make a diffrence at all, someone installed on nextgen had the ping rocket using them, but could depend on what brand they are using

I do know one thing concerning them, if you plug them into a 2+ socket bank extension, it will completely mess up, give slow speeds and high pings. Got to be directly into the wall socket.
