In the BBC building (also called Queens Court), opposite Princes Quay in City Center, theres a free wireless trial at the moment.
They are offering 10mbps down and 2mbps up. First scheme that i've heard of in Hull that is totally seperate from KC (one of their selling points is "No KC Involvement").

http://www.compclinic.co.uk/ have something to do with it as well. It is unclear!
