Did a speedtest this morning and was getting over the 10MB that I was told I'd "Only" get on the phone - cant argue with it like I'm pleased with that - way better speeds than I could EVER achieve with my mobile dongle ***Pile of garbage***

I was told I would get 3Mbps max, however can get up to 4.5Mbps. Recently its been even higher, strange - but not complaining either!

nah definitely not complaining - just going to nip onto filehippo and download a massive file see what the actual through put is..........

Filehippo.com - Nero Multimedia suite - 293MB - 3 Minutes remaining - downloading at just over 2 meg a sec so the throughput is excellent.

Cheers Karoo.

Yeah I'm supposed to be able to receive 8Mb but asked them to reduce it a tad as it appeared to be a little unstable. also come off the gaming profile ... Smiley
Don't appear to be having any issues and it's very consistent @ 7MB ... Wink

No idea why you ever left them for Air Net in the first place then Ace, 7Mbps is a good speed, I would love that.

I can only imagine it was cost related? Saving money with Shitnet.

I have also generally noticed that Kingston Communications have stabilised their service recently. My speedtest results have not fluctuated even during peak times for instance which I find awfully intriguing, and I would also like to point out that my upload rate has jumped from 800kbps to 860kbps. (lets hope it stays this way) Grin

Yeah I never used to get 7 before though Scotty... Angry I used to get 1.5 and constant disconnections, got pished off with them and then Airnet came along
and suggested this would be my saviour... Roll Eyes
Going back to Karoo I was assured whatever the issue was before they would sort it...and to be fair they have... Cool
