KCOM fibre tail with level 3 providing IP thats is what feeds the nextgenus network  2 questions then why is everyone on NAT'd addresses and why does an external IP lookup still insist your customers are on karoo?

its because Nextgenus did not place a allocation in the RIPE register when the connection was built a year ago this will change when the serive contract is changed.

Don't need a static, a dynamic one will do, i was used to karoo giving me an EXTERNAL IP so i dont need to ask someone to port forward for me, as i control that myself.

Hmm, so you get a 10.x.x.x IP address? Not sure the PS3 will like that, how does the 360 get around it for online gaming? Do you have to get nextgen to do port forwarding for you on a case by case basis? Some PS3 games need specific ports opening and/or forwarding, that would be a logistical nightmare having to contact an ISP each time to do it. So does NAT work on nextgen?
