For the people who have recently cancelled their Karoo broadband. How long, if any, notice do you have to give them when cancelling?

If I cancel today would I have to pay this months bill and be turned off at the end of the month or would I have to give a months notice and they would charge me next months also?

Update: Good news if you are cancelling Karoo and you're on the older MAX packages, the monthly notice doesn't apply to us. We can pay the rest of the current month and be disconnected then. The current month is now untill the day of the month you originally signed up, so for me 15th of the month was the day we signed up.

Do you know I can't remember 100% even though I only cancelled in August.

I think the months notice starts from the day you cancel. You pay your normal bill then a percentage based on all days after, leading up to the date its finally cut off.

If we cancel now, but find out that the connection isnt good enough to be installed, so I decide to contact karoo again to cancle the cancellation will they still charge me a reconnection fee even though I haven't actualy been disconnected yet?

It will depend on the cancellation fee if I cancel now or later. If they are going to charge me the fee even if I decide to keep the package after finding out the NGU connection isn't good enough to be installed, and before they have actually cut the Karoo connection then I won't cancle untill I find out. But if they won't charge me then its no harm calcelling.
