any1 heard of these pain to set up gotta take it back to shop and they gonna charge me 16 quid to set it up for me cheaky gits

yes i had one and it never worked properly. port forwarding didn't work it locked up and dropped the line constantly. i can't remember what model it was though.

It's an awful router, but there is better firmware available for it Smiley

Are you sure thats the right model number? as that model isn't listed on Etec's website.

just read what was on side the box anyway turns out it was a faulty router lol so got a full refund

On my 2nd router from Etec and never had any bother with either.
1st was just a 4 port jobbie and simple to set up, 2nd is PTI-845G  4 port wirless router.
Both of these have served me well over the years and are a doddle to set up for port forwading etc.
