I've heard KC are putting together a large retention team to keep hold of customers in Hull and surrounding areas.

They're getting worried about the competition prehaps.

Definitely wasn't bothered when I left, nor my mum, nor her neighbour Tongue That said if this is true then it does show they are taking the recent wireless competition (or the prospect of Fixed Line competition) in Hull very seriously.

LOL, dream on. My mate who went to a wireless provider had the same response from KCON, they didn't seem bothered.

Presumably from that you can POP your email from another ISP ??
And does it require a dialup once in a while to keep it alive??

cheers

Not that am aware off just put Karoo email settings in works just the same just like you can set up Karoo pop on your smart phones.

When I rang up though they did say they are looking at imposing charges for people doing this I only need it temp till I switch all my genuine sites over to my new email

Ah - found it here :- http://pricing.k-c.co.uk/P05-S03_Karoo_Pay_As_You_Go.htm

No mention of call requirements to keep it alive (I think with the BT PAYG you do).  5.11 p per minute should you need to use it.
I'm slowly getting all my emails to my own domain and forwarding from there to karoo (at the moment) but even after a long time some still keep popping up going direct to karoo.
