Traffic wardens!!!!

Parking attendants start work around 7:30am and finish at 10pm. They're not like the old traffic wardens so don't carry the same powers. They can't direct traffic like the old wardens (not officially anyway) and they can't ticket a car that is fully on the pavement.

Parking attendants (Vinci park) are sub contracted by the council where as the old traffic wardens where connected to the police.

I know a few of them personally and know it makes not a jot of difference to their pay how many people they ticket.

As for taking photos. Taken at an angle will minimise any flashback. Three photos have to be taken from different angles. If the permit was visible, it should show up, so if it was clearly on the dashboard, I'd put in another appeal.

Generalising them all as a***h***s is a bit harsh because some of the ones I know will do their best to warn wrongly parked drivers rather that just ticket them (i.e going into a bank to ask whoever is parked on double yellows to move instead of just ticketing).

I grant you, some are t!ts who won't even wait the minimum 5 minutes before slapping the ticket on a windscreen. But not all are like that. It's like all jobs. There are decent folk and the little Hitlers.
