After my trusty speedtouch 715 died earlier in the year I have had a few problems.
Bought a Belkin which turned out to be incompatible with Karoo.
Belkin sent me a newer model which would not work with my voip adapter no way no how.
Tried a Getnet model which would not connect to HTTPS sites.
Finaly ended up with a TP Link which keeps dropping the line Smiley

So what do you guys recommend ?

Many thanks for reading.

I recently purchased a D-Link DSL-2740R, other than it having wireless I can not flaw the router at all. It also has QoS which is likely to come in handy if you are using VoIP.

@el-ahrairah; Still a NetGear (cough... realtek... cough...) fanboy I see Cheesy

I didn't think routers could be incompatible.

I didn't think routers could be incompatible.

Belkin in Hull and on Karoo requires a firmware downgrade I do believe before the router works properly...

I'm using a Netgear N150. It's cheap and cheerful. Does everything I need it too, including voip.

The wireless button it great because it allows you to turn it on and off in an instant instead of logging in and changing settings within the browser.

As for the Belkin :-

Even the downgraded firmware played up.

Thanks for the info guys, looking like a Netgear then Smiley
