Simple answer is you need seperate audio cables to go from your pc to your tv (Providing your tv supports the audio cables). If not you're stuck with using seperate speakers connected to your pc.

Have a look here for a better description.

If you have an dvi-hdmi adapter, you could use the dvi port on your gpu on your pc and plug it into a spare hdmi lead. You would proably need a 3.5mm to red/white phono lead.

Something like this

I would take that with a pinch of salt mind you, the original DVI specification was to not support audio. I think some newer graphics cards support audio through the DVI output nowadays and some older cards are capable via the use of some sort of dongle (ATI cards I read about somewhere, not sure about NVIDIA).

Again here is a slightly better description. This is also on the NVIDIA site!

True, i suppose it depends on how old your card is. Normallly if you want audio through dvi you would have to run a wire from your sound card/motherboard to your gpu. What i meant was that you can use the other lead if your tv has the connections for it.

Yeah you're totally right, just needed to add it depends on the card if it supports audio over DVI.

Hope our information got your audio working  Grin
