If only ofcon did something about this, but no it looks like the Conservative government simply don't care following up with their manifesto by scrapping this useless quango.

I would take these stats with a pinch of salt !

The majority of KC customers have no experience of any other provider, wheras all the rest do.

But it's about customer service not a comparison of service providers. People have rated their service providers based on the level of customer service they have received.

I do, having moved from a village 5 miles outside Bristol in Nov 2009. I had SDSL and Virgin cable there - got about 9mbit out of the SDSL, and consistent 18mbit out of the cable, and they were about to offer 30mb.

What we get from Karoo is a disgrace in terms of both speed and price.

@Adrian, ramtops said he got 9mb from SDSL.. The 18mb refers to the cable ISP.

This is a classic example of the point I was trying to make.

You can't blame Karoo ( or any other ISP ) for slow speed when it is down to the distance you are from the exchange.
You received 9Mbit ( which I assume is more than you currently receive ) because you were closer to the exchange not because it was a better ISP.

Also it is unfair to blame Karoo not being able to get Virgin Cable....surely this should be aimed at Virgin cable not Karoo !

The price again is again a tad unfair as Karoo are restricted from lowering their pricing levels as it would be seen as anti-competitive.
You should be blaming SKY, TalkTalk etc for not coming into Hull.
