Freeze your prices by renewing today - KC Business

Anyone else received this gumpf today? Basically KC are going to increase line rental per month, but if you sign a 2 year contract, then they will scrap the increase. I've had letters from other suppliers (that i use for LCR) try to tie me in for 2 years too.
I've also been told by other comms providers that there is going to be major changes in Hull before October for businesses. Does this 'Tie in' marketing gumpf almost confirm these changes?

Incredible, I wouldn't mind so much if there was a valid reason for the increase in prices. What are we getting for the increased cost?
Even though they are a local company, I realy do hope they sink with the way they treat their customers

This isn't right. They predict things are going to change, and lose customers, hence trying to get people to sign up for 2 more years. Shocking.

Line rental should go up for everyone or no one.
This is another KC practice to remove competition from the Hull area and prevent major competition before it gets started.
Most CP's will try and lockyou in for 12 or 18 months however KC as usual go for the jugular !!!!

Seems reasonable really, sign a 2 year contract and protect yourself from price rises...

cant remember exactly as not in work this week, however my point wasnt the price increase, it was the fact that they wanted to tie me in for another 2 years and the fact that i had heard that big changes were going to be happening in october of this year. what are the big changes that are about to happen in october?

I would expect it's something to do with Mediasat3 and the fibre stuff they are doing.
