actual is somewhere between 8 and 12
reason being, it guesses information... so don't always trust it

I'll give you as much as this rubbish thomson router can... my netgear one broke Sad did you know that some of the capacitors they use only have a life of a few thousand hours :O

Certainly does appear your speedtest results far exceed what your router stats say you connect at. Thanks for the info.

And nope, I didn't know about the capacitors issue with netgear, Had one which i'm pretty sure has done a few thousand hours (at least!!) and admittedly it still works pretty well.
