BT already run their cables over the Humber Bridge in their own duct and paid a one off charge to the Bridge Board  otherwise its 5Ok a year.

I wouldnt get excited untill someone puts a spade in the ground this side of the bridge !!!    

I have lost count of how may times MS3 have said "This is happening exactly as we said it would happen".

Do you honestly believe that someone is going to stump up £12M in funding to people that have no track record in this arena.

if i got paid a pound for how many times i heard michael harlington or whatever his name is say we will know next week who the new providers are we are in talk this and that on the pofak page last year id be well off lol

They are going to be trying to target businesses, but I don't think any business that takes it communications seriously will just up and switch over to a new startup at the drop if a hat.
Nothing to do with BT, although they do have infrastructure here.
