If BT wanted to come into Hull, why did they let KC use their network in East Yorkshire?

Seems there might be some truth in KC's spin that no one wants to come into Hull.

Not the case

Plenty of CP's wanting to but "Wholesale" tariffing is either not published or outdated since Ofcom do not force them to publish WLR or WBC pricing.

Surely if they are seriously interested CP's they would have the "expertise" to pick up a phone and ask.
Or possibly if they were really "technically advanced" they could send an email.

On paper it is simple but the process is far from simple.

I have worked with several CP's concerening accesss to Hull and KC delibartely SLOW any negotiations down with the CP and delay sending or responding to information upon reasonable request.

Once the interest is there and things are happening. KC then offer "bespoke" "day" tariffs to "specific" customers that may be tempted to change.

I have experienced this and have information from specific Hull Businesses that have "bespoke" deals based on previously published tariffs known in the Industry as "Day" tariffs (Published for 1 day only) and then are subsequently removed or not availible for new supply.

Hence why tariffs MUST be published !!!

If a company was interested in coming into the area then they would. Just like the wireless providers that go over KC's network already.
