Can only hope, keeping everything crossed.

As far as the wireless companies are concerned, they have invested far too much time and money in this area to simply roll over once FTTC upgrades are complete. I expect they may even be the first companies apart from KC/Karoo to become a wired provider with LLU.

Thats only a guess but I would expect them to try to compete in some way.

At least the future is looking alot brighter for Hull and surrounding

It's almost a certainty that it will be above 25Mbps, if KC limit their connections it won't help their cause

As sure as Eggs are eggs it will be like karoo providing a Ferrari that is limited to 60 mph ,nice to advertise ,nice to look at ,and hell of a price ,but put it next to a Ford focus that is unrestricted ,it all boils down to how much they have available to give people on these new higher speed connections

With MS3 laying in their fibers, im not sure how KC and MS3 are going to work together. I assume KC are going to Sub-LLU like BT (at the cabinets) and MS3 just have their own backhaul but that would mean MS3 would be connected at the KC exchanges. AFAIK KC have all their exchanges connected together via fiber and have done for a long while, which makes me wonder again how MS3 will fit into the equation.

Another option that seems possible is MS3 just providing KC with another backhaul option, mainly for businesses. Keeping business traffic seperate from the public.

Total guesses mind you and there are other options for sure, honestly no idea how it will work

Really hope it doesn't come to that, but nothing has surprised me with KC in recent years. Seemingly intent on annoying their customers.

Once Kc have upgraded Woodmansey, will they look at area's where they have competition such at Market Weighton, Driffield. Etc Or just the areas with poor connection speeds?

I've heard that KC have connected a customer up already on FTTH in Woodmansey.

Running at 120Mbps.....think the Up is 20Mbps.

is there a factor of equation for fiber that overloads it if too many are allowed to connect and hammer what bandwidth is available ?

like 50 to 1 which is ok if there are only a few connected and light using but if 50 are connected and heavy using it them takes the pis.s
