Apparently KC are trying to make sure that every customer has at least a 2Mbps connection as per some government guideline thingy.

Is anyone here on less than this ?

If so let me know and I can pass it onto a KC guy who can look at this for you and get it sorted.

Now would that be the connection that you are capable of ,or what you get throttled down to at peak times ?

Mum, Ex-KC Customer shortly, HU5 4NJ - 1mb. Don't bother passing it on though as she's switched to NGU and is cancelling KC.

She should easily get 2Mb on ADSL1 and 3Mb on ADSL2+
Not the best area though, fair hike to the exchange.

There was a problem there, either internally or exterally.

There was a problem there, either internally or exterally.

KC Engineers have attended the property on numerous occasions and found nothing wrong internally, it was eventually put down to the distance to the exchange and left at that sadly :-(

get nextgen, and you can have 40mbps lol. Even Airnet is looking promising right now!
