Right a while back i moved home and took a new package with a home phone, the number they gave me brought mass problems from spam callers and idiots singing down the phone and arguing.

KC reluctantly changed the number for me and said it would cost £30, obviously i did state that i shouldn't have to pay as they gave me a problematic number as i have never had a house phone in all the years...So eventually they did just that FREE.

2 weeks ago my KC bill comes in and its £69.00 naturally i was shocked so i rang customer services and after much discussion they told me i had been charged for the number change Sad
I explained that they said it was free and i was then given the option to have the £30 refunded to either my bank or to my Karoo account...I chose bank as it was now left short.

Today i rang them to see what is going on as no money has been put back into my bank and i was told " the money has been refunded to the karoo account"
I explained i chose the bank as i was left out of pocket, but i was told this was not an option and the person i had dealt with previously was new and they will take this as a training excercise.

SO WTF am i suppsed to do...you short changed me and i am still left out of pocket to pay a different bill...dont think thats fair at all

That's terrible.

What a load of bullshit too. If KC wanted to, they could easily remove the £30 credit from your account, and place it into your bank account, how many years has this technology been around to give refunds?Huh?
They just chose not to.

Don't blame you for being upset !

Sounds like a lot of bullocks to me.....how do they refund people then ?

If you wish to take it further ( I know I would ) then complain in writing ( or via email ) explaining the situation to them.
