Has this now stopped? My dad rang up this week to ask to be put on it and the person he talked to said he had no idea what he was talking about. I'm moved out and i set the profile up on my internet a few months ago so i'm slightly confused.

I believe it's just a profile which turns error correction off on the line. This improves latency for gaming but compromises the overall bandwidth available to you.

As far as i'm aware Chris it is still not a problem for them to change you to a gaming profile. Contact them via there tech email address, It can be found on their main website.
