Absolutely ridiculous.

This country is well and truly screwed if it has become illegal to write down prices.

I'd like to be arrested so i could challenge this stupid decision if its the law they talking about, otherwise if its just against Tesco's rules, then fine its their store after all.

I don't think it's illegal, but it is poor ethics to do this in a shop and you are supposed to ask the manager permission first.

I believe it is similar to the trade secrets law as you are potentially from a rival company.

In my opinion, especially in these times, where everything is on the rise and their is generally a massive focus on comparing your prices to get the best deal, making this illegal or disallowed in stores, is disgraceful!

Next thing, comparison websites will be banned.
