most computer shops in Hull are useless, I can't remember the last time I bought anything computer related in Hull.
I haven't got an SATA version of that cable but if you can use it I have a spare 6 pin to 4 pin molex you can have.

Yeah they seem to be more repairs rather then anything else, thanks for the offer but that won't work for me.

It might be possible to make your own... Or try the internet.

The one that stumps me is where I get a Notebook SATA-CD to Desktop SATA adaptor, I hate SATA anyway though, prefer to use SAS.

Can you not get a normal molex adapter?

Why ebay tho? I find that shops in Hull seem to be the worst at selling anything specific i noticed.

Even Maplin is a bit crap really, they don't sell much if you are into electronics so the name of the store is rather misleading.

I don't know what it is with this forum and not using eBay.

I refuse to use EBay, too many Del-Boy's and Arthur Daley's on there.

ebay is fine as long as you stick with sellers with feedback greater than about 98.5%
also companies like buster's accessories (motorbike bits) sell on ebay and for some reason their prices are quite a bit cheaper on ebay than on their own website
it's like buying anywhere you've got to use a bit of common sense, if the listing isn't clear and it makes you uneasy stay clear.
But in the last 3 or 4 years I've never had a problem with ebay because most sellers are scared of negative feedback
