Any slow down in my speed has always been down to someone at KC flicking the wrong switch or pressing the wrong button - like putting me back down to an 8mb profile when I switched to a bundle - oh and that bundle started on a Monday (conveniently missing the weekend and all the freebies - but maybe thats me being cynical?!).

Anyway, I find it harder to be cynical against KC these days after having had a bad experience with a wireless provider. I went back to KC and onto one of their bundles - which I have embraced and try to get as much out of it as possible.  At least I get connected to the internet when I want at a decent speed.

lol I don't know how you can be bothered to put up with MAX,

and then unmetered midnight-8am.

unmetered midnight-6pm > unmetered midnight-8am

The average speed on ADSL2+ for postcode HU3 3 is
6.5Mbps

Your postcode can get speeds between
a minimum of 4.5Mbps
a maximum of 8Mbps

must be wrong  i get that speed on the old max package

nope that's pretty spot on. From your earlier post you are on ADSL2 and getting the max rate for your area. KC must have moved everyone on the old packages over to ADSL2. Makes sense as it would save them money by not having to deal with two DSL services.
